Front Burner Chronicles

Here's what's on the front burner these days which is making the back burner simmer a little lower:

1. My brother Daniel and sister-in-law, Andrea just brought twins home from the hospital. Here's the longer version of the story.

2. The doctor marked my fever yesterday at 103.4. I hardly ever get fever sick, so the whole chills / sweating / achy / moaning day yesterday was ugly. The first time in 6 years that I've not gone to work because I was sick. (I'm staying home today too.)

3. The Open Frame Student Film Contest which is the little student film contest I run for our students went off without a hitch on Saturday night -- but for the two weeks prior -- it occupied plenty of time and energy.
