I had a dream...
Literally. I fell asleep for fifteen minutes after supper tonight and I had a dream.
(seriously)
I dreamed that I was sorting piles of used post it notes and clipping them together with paper clips.
.
That's it. That's what my dreams have been reduced to.
.
Readers should feel free to extrapolate the interpretation of this dream as a potential explanatory parable about the silence of this blog.

it is because of a fear of organization... i'm pretty sure it is quite common in collegiate communities.
Hey anonymous...
i'm happy to agree that the fear of Capital - O organization...the proliferation of bueracracy....and the institutionalization of "information"...
and btw - i leave the anonymous posting option open, because i *don't* want people to have to slog through the process of signing up for a blogger account...but the informal rule is: leave your name as a courtesy. Conversation without identity is welcome in lots of other places on the net...
not so much here...
thanks for the soothsaying...
andrew,
do you feel like your life is unorganized and you need it to be sorted into piles of managable items such as work, family, friends, and research?
are you nefariously trying to separate your life into compartments and not intergrate your life as a whole unit together?
well, if you are; can you teach me how to?! you know exactly what i'm talking about here.
Maybe you just really like office supplies. A LOT. Particularly Post-It Notes and paperclips.
Maybe it's a premonition that we all ought to buy stock in office supplies. A LOT. Particularly Post-It Notes and paperclips.
Maybe you're like the dude in A Beautiful Mind and you'll soon be cracking codes. A LOT. Particularly with Post-It Notes and paperclips.
Maybe I'm just a smarty-pants who needs to hush up. A LOT. Before she finds herself pelted particularly with Post-It Notes and paperclips.
